A screening and discussion of the film 2040
Tuesday 9th June 18.15 – 21.30
The screening of this film is intended as a starting point for a discussion of possible futures that each of us might imagine and act towards bringing into being.
Directed by award winning director Damon Gameau, the film offers a possible future based on humanity embracing some of the solutions already available to us. It’s structured around a visual letter to his 4 year old daughter, blending dramatised sequences, traditional documentary and high-end visual effects.
The screening will be followed by group discussions using Zoom.
